It was a option. My January 06 build limited does not have one.

To keep it looking nice white is almost as bad as black

I got a sport with a sunroof. Beyond that, there is nothing the limited offered me that I wanted. I put on neoprene seat covers to eliminate the seating problem. An EVIC would be "nice", but I have not found it to be an issue. My dog and leather seats would also not have been good mix.

Leather is not standard in a limited either  I saw a KJ sport this morning and the unpainted fender wells are light gray from weathering.

For 06 Limited means they have power driver's seat, brushed metal dash trim, different cloth seat covers, painted fender flares and bumpers, chromed side moldings and grill and that's about it  I'm not sure about cruise control but mine has it:?: In the brochre they listed keyless lit entry too.

No evic, no leather, no hands free, no navigation etc etc. That was all extra.
I OVERLOOKED ILLUMINATED VISORS  :? 8)
My window sticker has 17x7.5" wheels listed for the limited but we got 16x7" on the CRD's. The 2.8 CRD engine was $1360.

The seats in my sport will stain if you spill water on them.

I'd been looking for an 06' Limited for about a year and just stole one from a guy here in So Cal who bought it from a dealer out of state last December. He needed to free up some cash so he basically paid me to take it. Other than some brake fixes, its loaded. I prefer the leather for its durability and ease of cleaning. And the better half likes the heated seats too. :D

I like my Sport better, I only wish I had heated Leather as an option. My seats stain as well with water but I think that is just from leaving the windows open all the time and pollen getting in the cloth. I love the non-painted fenders as I do alot of brush driving.

All Cloth seats in both the SPORT and LIMITED stain with clear water  It is caused by a powder or something used in making the fabric. For those who complained they first tried to clean them but later just replaced them  DC ended up sueing Johnson Controls, the seat maker, over the cost of replacing them
FWIW the cloth seats in my 99.5 VW Jetta TDI did the same thing

Have a Limited with everything but the heated seats. It's what the wife wanted, especially the color that she wanted. Wife's happy...I'm happy. :D

I'm wanting a Grand Cherokee CRD REAL bad.

I'd be glad to sell my Libby CRD so I could buy one.

I've done all the good mods:

Provent
Fumoto drain valve
Suncoast TC
TransGo Kit
InMotion tune

She needs a set of tires, but other than that....she's perfect. I just want to bigger vehicle.

Got it Joe.

The Libby is sweet, but I really like the GC.

Yeah Sam, but I've seen some of the deals you bring home.

I don't have the talent, time, or space to work the magic you do on those old junkyard dogs. :)

I've found a few 2008 GC leftovers that I think could be bought in the mid 20's. There is one locally, brand new, 2008 model, and I asked the what they would take for it. They immediately knocked $10,000 of the price, but the wanted to low ball me on my trade.

If I can sell the Libby to a private party, then I am pretty confident I can find a good GC CRD for dang cheap.

Strangly, the Liberty seems to be holding it's value much better than the Cherokee. Go figure???

Do you feel better now? Got that off your chest and maybe your heart rate is a little lower? Breath, relax. Breath relax.

Not that it's your business, but I found a LOST member who wants to sell his truck and as soon as I get the time I'm going to fly out and pick it up and drive it home.

It must suck to think so little of youself that you have to go out of your way to insult people that have shown you no aggression.

Your right, I don't have much to add here. But I'm learning a lot and that's at least part of why this site exists.

And all this coming from someone with 70 posts. Ya gotta love it.

It's called doing your homework before you buy.

and if you look at his first posts on his Sammi and Toy - the man knows diesels

so I want him to get his Jeep just to see what he does with it.

Thanks AT. I was lucky to find a great guy who is willing to wait for me to get a little free time to make the purchase. Oh I do have plans!!! I have some really good connections at ARB in Seattle. She'll be lockered out before you know it.

The bad part is, Joe may leave me hunting for a replacement vehicle.

I'm wanting a Grand Cherokee CRD REAL bad, and the prices are pretty good right now. Anyone have any experience with the GC CRD?
