CRD owner roll call

I bought my 05 Dark Khaki CRD new in Sept' of 05 with 21 miles on the clock. I'm at 40,+++ now. I love this thing, my wife loves it, and our dogs love it.

So far the little tractor has been fitted with a Daystar lift, Cragar Soft8s, Maxxis mud tires, CRS rockrails, all Mopar skids, Thule SpareMe bike rack, Yakima roof rails, Kayak Stacker, a bunch of dog hair, and a lot of beach sand.

What I have sitting in the garage waiting to be put on is a Frankenlift, new front brakes, TJM front bumper, and an SEGR.

Future mods? Lockers and who knows what else.

Bought new 4/05. Bone stock except for replacement of dangerous OEM tires and tranny skid. No repairs beyond recalls/maint except rear seat belts which were cut by rubbing against plastic trim piece (everyone should check this).

Recently thought of replacing, but could not give the little devil up.

Bought my 2006 Limited new in late November 2005 and pushing 60K miles today. Love it.

bought my 2005 sport in early Jan 08 with 23,000 miles on it. Now has 63,000 miles. I have the previous owners name and address - Salesrep at dealership did not "hide" it when he transferred the warranty. I'd like to contact him, but I feel that would be a violation of his privacy so I won't.

Only 2 issues

1)CEL regarding under boost - minor issue 100% covered by warrenty
2)CEL Bad glow plug. Covered under power train warranty, but trouble to diagnose as the glow plug harness was "installed" backwards

Completely stock except for removal of the exhaust brake.

Bought my 06 CRD in March of 08. It was originally purchased in Alaska in Nov. 06 and driven to South Carolina and then back to Boise, ID. I bought it with 15K miles on it. It now has 27K miles on it.
Mods include,
husky liners
cummins lift pump
EHM
Kerma tune to delete EGR
EGR block of plate with no CEL
235/75/16 Destination A/T tires
Hidden hitch and wiring
fumoto valve

Want list:
OME lift
ARB or TJM bumper
skink sliders

Raccor fuel filter head
trade a painted grill for my chrome grill
suncoast TC and updated front pump or preferably
NEW PROGRAMMING FOR TRANNY OR A SIX SPEED MANUAL!!!!!!!

2005 sport, bought new in June 06. The dealer didn't even know it was a CRD. 72000 miles. Mods are in sig. Wish list: everything already listed, especially a manual tranny. I bought it for the engine. I initially hated the rest of the vehicle, but it's growing on me.

2006 CRD Limited purchase March 15/08. Vehicle was previously a lease to a lady at Chrysler Canada for two years. It has 31,000 km on it when I got it and sitting now at 52,000 km.

No issues so far thanks to this forum. Installed new Samco hoses and Provent. Working on getting the SEGR installed. More mods as money allows with new tires being #1 on the list.

Love my little tractor.

Mine: 05 sport with 42,000 miles, and the mods in my sig

Hers: 05 sport with 36,000 miles, stock except for EHM+ORM+Facet lift pump.

Bought mine with 4 miles on it from Hill Kelly Jeep of Pensacola Fl. in march of 06.
37,000 miles and far from stock.Love it.

September 20, 2006, traded in my TJ and picked up my used 2005 Sport with 26K miles on it. I just had to have that diesel!

Now, i've got 59,000 miles on it AND its paid for :!:

Mods are in the sig, just need to intall the SEGR, add some gauges and pray someone cracks the TCM :!:

Bought new in June of 06. Over 100K miles now. Only the basics are done. EHM, ORM, gasser airbox. Will still get 30mpg on the highway.

Bought my 06 Limited w/40k miles a couple of weeks ago after looking for over a year. The guy basically paid me to take it after dumping some bucks in upgrades. After some brake work she'll be ready for war. I already have a Dodge Cummins so now I have two motors that will run on BioD. I can't believe how great this forum is and how helpful everyone's been so far. I've got a long list of upgrades I'll be chipping away at very soon. :twisted:

Bought mine new in 2006 in Virginia - now live in Indiana. Have 42K+ miles on it with some success avoiding the F31 and F37 flashes. This is my first diesel and happy with the vehicle, but a bit disappointed with the Chrysler/Jeep support of the vehicle. LOST has been a great help and the folks on the forum are terrific. Thanks!

I bought mine in June of 2005. 29000 miles,
a roof rack,
new tires (BFG trail terrain, same size as stock) I love these tires!,
about four or five dents along the passenger side where a deer ran into me,
scratches,
and a very dirty back seat from my kids and a few boy scouts.

Not sure if I am going to keep it or trade it in. I miss having a truck, I have to borrow my friends trailer all the time for hauling things.
Turbo went out last year and had to be replaced under warranty.
I love this Jeep, my wife doesn't like it.

Bought mine in Oct 05 new, now have 39k. Have had only 1 problem, and that was due to too high % bio when it was cold. I've only put 5k on it since Oct 07. Wife doesn't like it. I miss my 2000 F-250 Super Duty, wish I would have kept it and not got the jeep. :evil:

Bought my '05 limited in Texas because me dealer let me walk away from a new one for $200. Love my black loaded Limited, Glad I did not by Sport. Have over 84K and going strong.

2006 Sport bought new in Aug '06 and no probs except for window channels. Now at 34,000 and going strong. At thhis point, we have no intention of parting with it.

Bought last year in late may with just over 31K on it, now one year later almost 50K. More power than I need but I don't tow with it yet. mostly Highway. More mods on the way.
