in the center, it isn't nice and round like the stock bumper, but the inner most points are the same dimensions, and a rubicon rim and MT/R will fit on the stock carrier. I designed the bumper to work with the stock carrier if someone just wanted the bumper, or you can add the carriers to it, so I only have to make one bumper to work with every setup. Saves the customer money with one design.

I'll make a new post. Thanks

one more question:

where do I put a license plate? will ya have holes drilled/tapped, or should I just make my own?
the bumper looks great, I'm interested, but what about actually towing a 2,000 lb trailer for 1,000 miles or so with the built-in hitch? (I tow a lotta motorcycles) is that going to accept Class II or III square thingies? (don't know exactly what ya call 'em, it's what slides into the receiver)

Sorry about all the "dumb" questions, but I wouldn't have 'em if I weren't interested in the bumper:)

You say she's your girlfriend and she is giving you the second degree on how YOU spend YOUR money? She either thinks the two of you are married or you are married and don't know it yet.

Yea well we have been together for a long time and are engaged to be married...the time yet is not determined :D We always give each other a hard time about expenditures...her clothing, my Jeep stuff...fair trade off don't you think? Plus I always tell her, "Who is the one who likes to go muddin with me and wheelin in the hills, huh?" She loves that so I am usually able to convince her to put up with new Jeep stuff...like this rear bumper...how can I tell her that it will somehow help the KJs muddin ability?

See, you have to get it in your head. She is no longer your girlfriend. She is your Fiance. That changes everything.

Yes, a license plate location is going to be needed.

Haven't really worked on the licence plate mount yet. I'm figuring in the center cutout if using the tire carrer or on the carrier itself, and not sure yet if using the stock tire mount. Don't worry, the license plate will go somewhere.:D

How about a center-of-the-spare mount for the license plate? Keeps it off the bumper and gives our Law Enforcement friends a better view of the plates (being serious, not joking)

Are there any areas down your way that require having the licence plate lit? Maybe that's just a Canadian thing, I don't know. A small light wouldn't be hard to bolt on anyhow...just a(nother) thought. This rear bumper definitely has the group's interest!! :D

Yes I know, but the F word (Fiance) is a dirty word...what with it being French and all...so we decided to stick with girlfriend until the day we say "I do." Its so awesome to have someone you love hate the French and their politics, or lack thereof, as much as I do  8)

But to get it back on topic here...a license plate area would be nice...maybe somewhere off to one side or another like it comes stock :D

the only problem I'd have is to get the plate lit if it was on the side here in MA. they are very strict on having your license plate lit at night, now if it was in the center without the spare interfering & is clearly visible you could put 2 lights on the side of that little shelf thing by drilling some holes

Rocklizard your doing an awesome job & I know you'll figure it out :D

There are lighted license plate frames and even lighted bolts on the market. One would just need to tap into the old wiring and stick the plate wherever it fits best.

Awesome looking bumper!

I will figure out a way to mount the license plate along with the light, as it is the law. As a former Police Officer myself, I know that it wouldn't be right to take away the stock setup and leave you guys to fend for yourselves on returning things back to "legal" status.
