I'd much rather look like an idiot here in anonymous cyber-land than at a bio truck stop.

How do you get one of these "fuel cards" for truckstop stations? Some of the ones I've been to are totally unattended, so there was no way to ask anyone anyway.

So, how do you get these fuel cards? Are they different from credit cards?

Google them on the internet and find the one(s) you need and see if that helps you apply for a card.

There should be a sign w/ a phone number on it somewhere on the property. Just call them up. Some of them work like a toll pass thing where you put so much into your account and you debit from that. Others just tie right to your credit card and run it through as you use it.
