RER 2009 iPOD INTEGRATION

This is a cable for ipod integration for RER MyGig.
The description says "This cable will work for the 2009 RER MYGIG series 5064737 Low Speed & 5064739 High Speed. *** There is no known iPod integration kit available for earlier model 4400 HS & 4401 LS RER MYGIG receivers."

How can you tell which receiver you have? I have gone to the system information page on my mygig but don't see a serious number.

If you have an 08 its a really good chance it won't work ... We went through this whole iPod thing a few months back. Do a search and you'll see

I probably should have stated that my friend has an 2009 RER unit but is not sure which series it is. He said he is willing to give it to me. So I'm wondering how can we see what series it is?

I have a 2009 Jeep Liberty with RER (MyGIG). I have the following part from Mopar:
iPod® Integration Harnesses
Item Number: 82211853

This looks exactly like the part you have linked to in your post.

If it's a 2009, its different from the 08's and will work with the iPod kit ... Again, search for the threads there is a lot good info in them.

On my Cummins I used the PAC Audio iPod interface. Part # iPAC-CHY It works great and you can even control the iPod threw the steering wheel controls. http://www.pac-audio.com/products/produ ... ntegration
