With respect, wheeling happens in four low only! On the occasion you have to exit one trail and drive a road (paved or gravel) sure then four high or two wheel drive is fine, but real wheeling happens in four low!

Yep,let that crawl ratio get over obstacles instead of breaking parts,your available torque is greatest in 4low.

never have had a problem with either the TJ or the KJ overheating. Ya i know the temp gauge does not work right in the KJ. She kicks it into 4-lo only when needed. You reach a place where you can go any futher in 4-hi you put it into 4-lo. i have done this on both my YJ and TJ and no problem. Tranny, diff's, and transfer cases fine. And so far the Girls Libby is doing great. Have already changed the diff lube, transfer case, and tranny fluid, and all were prefect. Ohh and it only has idk around 38k miles on it. Her dad is somewhat of a nut when it comes to fluids for some reason. So don't ask me.
