I understand not wanting to use "President" and "Vice President" because of the stigma attached to the names. Realistically though, I am not sure that we can settle on another name that carries the weight. There is no mistaking that President and Vice President ARE the "top person" and "assistant to the top person."

Plus, new members and members outside of Ohio are regularly going to have to ask for clarification of what a Trail Leader/Tail Gunner do for the club off the trail. Or (like I did) they will ask, what's a Grand Master, Emperor, or Shogun do in LOST Ohio?

Most of us agree that we don't need an "all-powerful" dictator, nor do we need a lot of the bureaucratic nonsense that some clubs get into. But when it comes to organization, leadership, and final say so's, we would have a clear understanding of who to go to.... even if one of them is LOST in Africa for the summer. All we have to do is make sure neither of them go on an Ego or Power trip once they are given the title.

Mitch I was thinking the same way after I posted this last night, any other title would only confuse the masses if we went any where else or did anything outside of our little world.

I do like Dictator though

So keep thinking but as of right now I am inclined to go with what works and wahts easier for everyone to remember

Would not work due to Chris' obsession with being Number 1! He would be so upset no matter who had the position, because then in his mind he would have to try and reason that there are two Number 1s, would cause massive problems that no shrink could ever fix! Not even Doctor Phil!!!!!!!!!!!!
