So I was jacking up my driver side front wheel (under the LCA) to check my LBJ and outer TRE. I was using my stock bottle jack and as I turning it, I hear the extremely loud BANG! I noticed the jack was on an angle and it would not go down. So I get out my 48" Hi-Lift jack and raise the Jeep up in order to remove the bottle jack.

This is my bottle jack now:

My Hi-Lift jack saved the day!!

Not running a front bumper/fascia, so I attached it to the front crossmember.

I believe only the 2002's came with the bottle jack. IMO, they probably both suck. Barely worked with my stock suspension, I'm glad it broke so I can take it to the scrap yard and get my 50 cents its worth!

....wow, just saw this. And I thought the bottle jack that came in 02 and some 03 was better than the scissors jack I got with mine.
