Hey guys, over the last few months my CRD has developed a strong vibration when I'm in reverse and sometimes in park. I put it in neutral or drive and it goes away. I can also make it go away by raising the rpm just a little. Any ideas on what it might be? The vibration is noticable in cab but not outside. When its vibrating like that I look under the jeep and notice the transmission shaking more than normal, normal being having the jeep in neutral.

Is it a motor mount you think or something starting to fail in my transmission. I checked the oil in transmission and it looks good, smells fine and its full. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a motor mount. There was a thread on here not too long ago about the pasenger-side mount being a common culprit.

The TSB that was put out was also for a problem like you describe. Have you had it neutered yet?
