Which IM tune did most of you go with?
I see the Eco Tune and the Stage 2.
Is the Eco giving the 35mpg? How much fuel mileage do I lose with the stage 2 as I am always after more power.
The custom tune I'm curious about but wouldn't want to start hurting internals.

I started with the power tune, then tried the eco-tune. The eco-tune did not yield any better fuel economy, and the throttle response was noticeably deader. It felt like it was starved for fuel. I sent it back a third time to go back to the power tune.

Chris, that sounds like a good plan.

With the power tune, you can always just learn to keep your foot off the loud pedal. With the eco-tune, if the power isn't allowed to begin with (so why change anything from stock?) then you will be left wanting.

I'm sold, now I just need my own CRD back so I can contact them about the power tune.

Does anyone know how the stage two makes power. I think its timing and duration. Does anyone know? Does it increase rail pressure?

Give James a call at InMotion and he can tell you all the details.

It controls several parameters, not just fuel rail like most of the plug in modules do.

I just uploaded the InMotion tune into my Grand Cherokee CRD.

Sweet Jesus! It's even more potent than the tune on the Liberty was. It's an absolute rocket for a tiny 3.0L in a big ole SUV.
