It is 3 here and I have a headache so I guess it woke me up. I am holding off on the signals and either gonna see about finally getting my coil overs bought, $706 otd, or a rood rack for $270 so I can actually carry some gear on long trips. I may just end up going with $30 signals though.

For informational purposes I thought I'd let everyone know, that a lot of these pics are off the trail shots. The reason anyone went off the trail was 1, to make room for others to pass by and they parked, and 2, is that the snow on the trail was way too much for everyone to really pass through with the exceptiion of the buggy. This was a recovery situation where the stock Rubicon and the Dakota were wheeling and the Dakota got stuck, badly and the Rubicon's winch broke in recovery. Myself and another went out to help, and we couldn't assist even with 2 more winches. The only way to get the rigs out was to go around the spots that everyone was guaranteed to get stuck in and bypass the trail. 99% of the time, everyone was on the trail, but for the 1%, there was absolutely no other choice. Once we finally recovered the Dakota, we started at around 11 and didn't start home until 5:30, we tried to go back the way we came, but the hill was too long, snowy and steep and even the FJ on 40+ tires couldn't make it. So luckily, another buddy showed up, that new an alternate route and we were able to get down safely. I don't recommend or encourage off trail riding, but in this case there was no other choice for the very short period we had to do it. We got almost 2" of snow at my house at 4600 ft last night, and we were doing the recovery at 7,800 ft so you can imagine the mess the Dakota would have been in if we didn't get him out by going around. We had to get everyone out before nightfall.

Did you ever make that shirt? :D

I added this to my bumper for extra strength:

5 bolts that run through the rear pinch weld in the unibody and bolts to the top of the hitch receiver. I think it turned out pretty nice as well.

That is just plain BOMB!(that would be the first time I ahve used that word and been serious about it  ) But I didnt know how else to define it... Is there any chance someone will make a tubular bumper for the KJ that we all can purchase? I have always been a huge fan of the tube bumpers.

Thanks and unfortunately I doubt very much anyone will make a tubular rear bumper for the KJ. How many make rear aftermarket bumpers at all for the KJ? Not a whole lot. :? All the front tubular ones are custom jobs as well I believe. Hope you can find someone to make it for you though.
