tow/haul

I have a 2003 jeep liberty with all the bells and whistles. For some reason I can not lock out overdrive now. The fuse under the hood for tow/haul is not blown. I have not found any info as to any one having this problem. All I know about it is the button on the shifter you push to lock it out and there is the fuse under the hood. How can i figure this out. I tow a 2100lb popup and need to be able to lock out overdrive. Thanks.

My temperature read out is stuck on -41 this happened the same time I notice the overdrive not locking out. The compass side works.

I took the drivers side kick panel off and checked out the wire harness. there is a 3 inch plug that I pushed together real good and everything works agian. I guess that was it anyway. I moved a lot of other wires around but found no shorts anywhere.

Was the light not coming on when you pushed the button?

No the over drive light would not come on when the button was pushed and it would not lock overdrive out., The temperature was reading -40 at all times and all the windows would not work sometimes. Have had no problems since I pushed the plug together. The bolt that holds it together was a little loose. Only thing I can figure is a loose connection was causing it. So far so good.
