What about adding an extra deep oil pan? Give her a few more quarts to keep things a little cooler?
I didn't want to get into adding aux coolers and all.
I don't know if the factory tow package is anything extra either?
I know on gas vehicles the tow packages usually add some power steering pump, oil, and external trans coolers vs. some stock set up. Is the tow package for the CRD just a trailer hitch?

true, but the 12qts should take longer to get to the same temp as the 10qts.

Has anyone heard if CRDJON got his hemi-torque-converter installed?

...dissipates more heat than a stock steel pan.



Since the Tree Hugging Climate Change Wackos are totally wrong on reality.

I suspect the up coming Ice Age will get rid of any trans heating problems.
