I Just got a message letting me know there was some interest in doing Rock Springs Cafe for dinner after the trip. Great!!

If we do that, we will have to exit the trail via Bloody Basin Road and take I-17 to the Cafe, and then home from there, instead of going back the way we came.

So, here's another plug for dinner at Rock Springs Cafe (<---- check out the menu)... great food and plenty of it!!

Note: if some folks want to do this and others don't, we'll just split into two groups for the ride back to Phoenix. We'll figure it out so no one has to go it alone on the way home. So, for now, it looks like we have two options for the trip home....



PS: Anyone heard from Scott? Is he back from Baltimore?

Breaking News!!

Don’t bother bringing your lunch on this trip!! Silverdiesel and I have it all taken care of. We’re doing lunch for everyone!! Nothing special, but you won’t go away hungry. So, just bring whatever snacks you want for the day, your drinks, plenty of water and plan on spending some time playing in the river!!

I gotta feeling this is going to be a fun trip. See everybody Saturday morning at 0830!!

Where: the Circle K parking lot, 20745 N. Scottsdale Rd in Scottsdale (the Basha's parking, lot one mile north of the 101)

Bad news. My Liberty is broke so I won't be making the run. Instead I'll be spending the weekend in my driveway with wrench in hand.
