For the last two weeks my Service 4WD and ESP icons (the amber dash lights) have been coming on and off. When they are on, the transfer case will not shift into 4WD and ESP is disengaged. I took my 2008 KK to the dealer today and they found several fault codes. They ended up replacing the transfer case switching module (the little rocker switch unit used to shift into and out of 4WD) because it was shorting out. Just an FYI if anyone else with a new KK has had this issue.

Yeah, the TSB I saw from a year ago deals with re-flashing the computer. My case was apparently an electronics (hardware) failure issue. I've been very impressed at how well my KK handles off-road/in 4WD--better than my Cherokee (much smoother ride and just as capable).

Same here. I've been getting the service four wheel drive soon light and the oh-so-lovely-chime-every-five-seconds. My buddy at the dealer had to order the part. Hopefully I'll get it in this week some time. FYI, I've been driving like this for months, literally Months, and there's nothing wrong. It's just the electronics bugging out. So if you have this happen to you, don't panic. And always remember your towel
