I can't get off work early tomorrow and I'd rather not roll in at 10 or later tomorrow night so I'll drive down Saturday morning and meet you all at the gas station off exit 59 at 9:00am. I'll play Saturday night by ear. If it's not raining I'll camp out and go on the runs the next day, but if it's raining I'll probably head home.

Chris & Matt,

I don't know if you have talked to anyone since you left, but Jim was back at the campsite when we got there to drop his stuff off. He is ok. I believe his son was on the way down to pick him up. He should be home late tonight.

For everyone else, Jim (towstrap) had a mishap today on the trail, his KJ is upside down in a creek. Thankfully he was wearing his seat belt and Scott & Matt were there for the rescue....or things could have been much worse. I don't have any good pics of the carnage, but I'm sure we'll get some once everyone gets home.

my drive home is only 2 hrs and he was still there when we left, so he's probably not home yet. you can try his cell phone if someone has the number, but I do not think it works anymore.

A HUGE thank you to SCOTT and everyone for making the best of a cruddy situation.. I think we did pretty good considering the circumstances of having no way of contacting anyone for help

Hi to the greatest bunch of folks that I know. My Liberty is junk, but I was able to get out with just an awful looking black eye. The hospital staff was pretty sure that I had broken a bone in my face, but a CAT scan showed nothing broken so they released me.
I don't know how my left rear tire slipped off the surface we were driving on, but when she started to go, I knew that it wouldn't be good! I think I rolled 2.5 times but I could be wrong. I was trapped upside down with my head under water, groping for the seat belt release, while being pretty disoriented. I was able to put my head between the seats and get another breath of air, and Scott (1996xj) was somehow there getting me out of the Liberty. Thankfully the water wasn't too deep. I left the Liberty with Scott's aid and somehow made it up the bank. Scott ran me to the hospital.
The guys rescued most of the junk I take with me from my wrecked Liberty and brought it to camp. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. That goes for my family also! Thank You!
