$15 for that? there is room for switches on both sides of the steering column.. if you have light bar the switch is on the left..

One, it is made out of sheet metal. Two, this is for people who do not want to cut giant holes out of their dash. Cherokees and Wranglers have a bezel in the same location for a reason. Wiring to the cubby hole is also easier than reaching the location next to the steering column. Trust me, I tried. Three, LOST members get the bezel for $10.

What you guys need to come up with is a bezel that has 2 more power outlets in it and an easy way to wire it into the Liberty, switched outlets would be nice.

Sounds like a good idea. I will look into it.

I see your site says that a bumper-mount lightbar for the 02-04 liberties is coming soon. ANy plans for an 05 model?

Doesn't seem to fit very well. The top left corner has a straight cut instead of following the curvature of the cubby hole. Is the bezel wide enough to fit a typical 3.5" card reader faceplate?

That is definately on me list. I just need to get some measurements from an 05.

Well, it fits tight. It is made of sheet metal and I wasn't sure how far the bezel would go back to fit in perfectly. I also didn't want that corner to scrap the plastic on that curve. That's why I cut it like I did. As for the card reader, it will fit horizontally.

don't complain guys, a discount is a discount. Just don't buy one if you don't like it.

I know...but there is no room for it. You have that ash tray, cigarette lighter, and power outlet.

I don't like it. IMHO it looks like a hack job and the liberty has poor storage space to begin with as far as the glove box and side pockets are concerned.I wouldn't want to give up my little cubby hole down there.. No offense,I just don't like..

I sure don't think it looks like a hack-job. Believe me, I wouldn't hack my $20,000 Jeep. I love how it fits in my Liberty, and it truly does look great. What are you going to put in that cubby hole anyways? An owner's manual? Maps? Pop can? CDs? I put an iPod and a cellphone in there once. I also place those in my cupholders. Maybe you can put a screwdriver in there for the trail. Don't get me wrong-I am being sarcastic. I just thought people would like to put some actual use into their cubby holes. If you like it, and see the potential like I do, buy it. If you don't, leave it at that. But don't make false conclusions when you haven't even seen it. Oh, by the way, there is a slot for the owner's manual in the glove compartment under the "Oh Sh**" bar" or were it should go in the 02's and 03's. I just discovered this a few weeks ago. Sadly, I was very excited.

Remember the good days:
