There is a small metal hard line from between the ends of the steering rack that's rusted out on my KJ. Apparently its only available with a new rack unit.

Does anyone know if its a low pressure line? I'd like to cut it and replace the bad section with rubber hose. I had to do a similar modification recently on rusted auto trans cooler lines which rusted at the plastic brackets.
