What temp is AUX electric fan supposed to kick in and start working? I have been running around with the ac on and have not ever herd it or witnessed it turn on latley. I also have the extended Grade temp rising to red and having to back pedel the thing down to acceptable temps any info on the electric would be appreciated. I pulled and swapped relays fan comes on with relay out gose off on reinstall? :?

My electric fan comes on if the compressor runs, even in the winter and the car is idling. My guess is you've got a sensor issue... or a relay issue.

When I did a new Suncoast TC and separate tranny cooler I pulled the electric fan.
My cooler does have a low temp bypass to keep up the temps as I live in Maine. Also I cover the front in winter.
One caveat though, run the motor a while after a hot WFO run for the turbo, motor and tranny cool downs.

Not much explanation for that - ECM controls hi and lo speeds, one 30a fuse for the motor, one 5a fuse for the relay coils - possible one relay opens up, ECM turns motor on for safety, which would seem to indicate both fuses ok - fan should run in DEFROST

Thanks for the suggestions. The fan is functioning our temps out here just have not allowed for it to come on until today 80f. gmctd relay and fuses are ok. Pulling relays makes up the circut as a default I found by pulling while running the fan comes on. I will check the defrost mode this will put this one to bed thanks again.
