Got these in today. One was the correct grease zerk version, the other was the OEM crap. I even called the order in vs. ordering over the web to make sure they did not send me the wrong ones. Crap!

Anyway, the zerked ball joint is much more HD than the OEM version. Can't wait to get these on as my old ones have me running a little vervous.

If you order the moog joints, even the non serviceable are better than the TRW factory ones.

The deal is that I believe the serviceable are a new version of the same part number. It took Al quite a few trys toget me 2 serviceable units.

It is real similar to how ARB changed the locker for the 8.25 and said it would work in the lib. They failed to tell everyone that when buying for a lib you needed to look for a certain serial number instead of just the part number since the old version of the same part number was still out on the shelves.

I ordered a pair from Amazon.com, and both were the greasable kind. Now I just have to figure out how to install them...

Same thing happened to me. I ordered mine from RockAuto.com. Had to ship back the one without the zerk fitting and provide them with a tracking number before they would send me the correct one. The model numbers on the boxes were the same though, strange.

I returned the wrong ball joint to Rock Auto today, and when I was giving their rep the UPS tracking number I asked him to have his warehouseman put hands on the part to make sure it was correct. Basically, open the box to confirm before you ship it. Don’t think he liked my request, but it sounds like he will comply. Time will tell.
