O.K., ya'll. Before this digresses into a conversation about getting our nuts,

I have some questions about the Daystar 2.5" lift I just got for my '06 sport. I would appreciate help with what I want to do and NOT what others think I SHOULD do. I want increased clearance I can afford for wheelin' Forest Service roads getting to trailheads on the A.T. in GA & NC.
1) Where can I get, or how can I fab a rear brake line bracket extension, or can a longer brake line work?
2) Can I substitute a stock '98 - '03 Dodge Durango rear shock ($22) for the suggested Rancho RSX17004?
3) Do I need a longer brake line for the front?
4) Can the struts and shocks be swapped from one side to the other to compensate for any perceived sag?
The KJ has 24000 miles on it as a dd and I don't do any serious, extreme off-roading. To date just Camp Jeep scenic and intermediate trails and F.S. roads. I would like to upgrade the suspension as it wears out but for now will be happy with increased clearance. I am new to this, so be gentle and try not to get your nuts off razn' me about my choice.

GENTLE...........On ..............YOU, why should we treat you any different than all the others
1. you can fab a rear brake line extension from a piece of flat metal, theres a picture somewhere on here of what it needs to look like.
2. You could I suppose get by with them but like stock KJ shocks they will now give you the ride or last as long as what a Rancho would.
3. No longer brakes lines are needed for the front
4. Not sure whay you want to go side to side for sag? Are you using the stock front shocks( struts) ? Also get some front bumpstops from Teraflex it will keep your front suspension happy with the Daystar
