My daughter's swim season is finally over, so I should have an open weekend. If you guys remember from my lift party, she was just half-way through the season (5 1/2 mo. ago). Doesn't start back up until early Sept. so count me in at Meduncan's. Will bring electric impact tools, hand tools, floor jacks, jack stands, etc. Meduncan, PM coming your way for directions. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Who is going up from the South Dayton area? I live close to 675 and we could meet at my house for the trip up.

Let's see. Paying for plane tix to and from Philly, moving a friend out of a 4th story apt in a crappy part of downtown Philly. Driving to another crappy part of Philly and moving him into a 3rd story apt. Flying home Sunday night on a 6 hour flight that winds it's way all over the US east coast before landing in Dayton. Yeah, I think you guys will have just a little bit better of a time than I will. Save me some of the rib bones at least. I'll gnaw on them next time I can get out in a year or so.

I will throw at least half the money in for the ribs to help you out, (4 slabs enough?? ), since you will also have to have charcoal etc.
need some aluminum foil and stuff as well?

I can go with 6 in the smoker if I cycle them in a differnet way. we'll get 3 slabs about an hour before the last 3. makes for a good "walk around and snag a rib or two, then back for another" approach. Or, I can go with 8 slabs, two smokers, and people can take leftovers home. We'll have about $60 in 8 slabs though... ($5 in the hat at the door would cover ribs and two bags of charcoal and get you, essentially, a half slab of ribs, depending on how many show)

And as if my turbulent life couldn't get any worse...

I really don't show it much in person...

But I just got a job interview this Tuesday AND Wednesday for two different jobs... I hope they grant me the 15th off if I get hired. I really hope so...

I will dang near BEG for them to. I have to make it down there. Michigan is boring. ;)

I'll cover the drinks and sides for the gathering. The Giant Eagle by us has a pretty good assortment of beers so does anyone have any specific requests?

I have 15# of fresh brats from my wifes sorority. They had a tent set up at a festival and sold them for charity but they bought 150# and the crowd turnout this year was low. anybody want me to bring these , or will we need them?
There's about 25 per 5#, it will take me forever to eat 75 brats
