You then may get nasty dents in the tubes first time you flex it...

I only cut the fronts a little, you can check when you do your install. While having the front end airborne both wheels will droop to the max, then fit the new A arms, push UBJ in the spindle and see how much play you got....Cut pocket untill the arms no longer touch. And a little extra.

Yep - life and work always conspire to get in the way of our hobbies/interests :)

I seem to be buying tools as well - new torque wrench, heavy-duty axle stands, ramps and trolley jack - looking at my old ones I realized that I'd had them for years, and the car I had then was a fair bit lighter than the KJ! No way could I trust them to hold it up!

Look forward to hearing more when you do manage to get the job done. Good luck!

To each their own I guess, I could not leave it the way it was, didn't want my pretty new arms banging against the chassis..

I didn't cut my pockets (mainly because I had tjkj2002 and Rock Lizard install my lift and they didn't recommend it). It's rather annoying at first, but eventually the A-arm beats down the pocket and the noise disappears.....

Nothing so far... I dont have the finances for tools or installation at the moment. I have to postpone the installation for awhile. :(

I need some extensions... The rear bolts are the only things holding me up. Once I get some extension I should be good. Finances are tight due to the fact that the wife & I dropped 1.5k on another AKC Boxer for our breeding program...

I dont believe it will work with JBA arms. I could be wrong though. I got them with my RRO arms from RRO.

I have the RRO Insane A Arms in hand with the RRO bump stops. I wondered about access to the zerk fittings but stops have a notch for greasing the BJ's.

Install will happen with in a week.
