there's plenty of room in there for one of those rectangular lights that people often use on the roof basket in the back

i didn't realize that's what the slots were for either until i asked out loud what the light tab thing on the inside behind them was for

What a goofy looking Jeep. You should serioulsy put a FRONT bumper on that thing.

And a 42RE in A Jeep, sheesh, why not drive a Durango?

That's the most mall crawlin' thing I have seen since.... Well, since I got out of MY Jeep I guess.

The bumper weighs 172 pounds, more than one of my technicians. We cut off a few rivets, trimmed some metal and a foot of rear fender flares, so he lost about 5 pounds before I bolted it on.

I told JeepinJarHead my actual cost of the part and made HIM tell me what it was worth to him. He offered to let me pain it pink and put fuzzy fur on it, but I declined on the basis of his girl car all ready looking like he should be driving it to the salon for his mani/pedi.

I talked in complete sentences with the people in OR, and they built the first WJ front bumper in 2 years (well, of my style) and the 1st rear bumper in a year (or so he said). Powder coating took an extra week from what I was quoted, I had possesion of the bumpers within 5 weeks of the order.

The front WJ bumper is the shizzle, but y'all don't care about my little shop truck.

PM me or email me at Daniel@nctransmission.net if you want additional details. I am TRULY impressed with this bumper, it tucks the rear end about 6 inches higher than the stock, and will mess your stuff up if you think you can fight it.

aww come on now Dan, that's a lie :P

I've got a 45RFE

everything else is true though

I did ask him if he was going to paint it pink since he had to hold it for me for a couple weeks

(Dan and his techs are the only people I've ever let touch my jeep and definitely the only people I would have trusted to service my transmission)

Which by my calculation, 600 miles later, I still have all gears, which is better than my previous slush box experiences

Is there enough room to pull your tailights if a bulb burns out?
Otherwise that will be a real pain.....

nope, that's why I replaced the tail light bulbs with LED's a couple months ago right before I moved my licence plate to my spare

finished painting the tank skid to better match the TR

I had thought about painting the skids something other than black but.. eh.. for now they're all staying black since I can't decide what color I'd want them
