I'm wondering if I should add some pucks to the rear to be
on the safe side, that is if I ever get it off-road.

I'm not even ordering my springs till the first week of August - hopefully I'll get 'em in time. I already have the front/back shocks, and picked up callaway's old oem front shock assemblies to take apart for top plates and spring spacers. Hockey pucks for rear bumpstops... so I'm almost ready to go. :D

i got

1. front pre-assembled on order from boulderbars
2. hockey pucks
3. tools

still need

1. front bump stops
2. rear springs
3. a lot of sleep

Well, I guess I'm going to have to withdraw. I will be in the area that weekend, but I've got my step dad's 65th B-Day party on that day.

I'll make the next one hopefully.

Hubby got the rear brakes done today with a bunch of help from Aaron. :D "New" AC compressor is on hold for now. I will be getting the new A-arms by the next wrenching.

You should have called me. Working those springs without the right tools
is a PITA.

Thanks, Tom. I'll have hubby check into it. May come in handy next time. Aaron did pretty well though with some locking pliers and leverage.

Needle nose vise grips FTW, I'm able to do everything those tools do. No flying springs, no cut hands.

hey, did everyone already set this date up, or would anyone want to move it back a week, cause something came up that day and Jayme and I might not be able to get our lifts in time, just because it would help us two out and a week later would help due to shipping???

PLEASE REPLY

Aaron and I put in my current lift in my driveway. Worse case scenario, we install the new lift in our driveway again. No big deal.

Besides, we'll still show up and help others with anything they might want to do... or I could work on my cv crap there too.

I thought yours was already ordered... isn't it?

the back was and is on the way, the front was going to be ordered yesterday, but i didnt get my check from my other job, and probably wont get it for another week...so, yea, worst case we can do it there, or at my place again if you want...we can work it out
