Hey have a few questions. I have read everything about CRD that is on here. But, i am really wanting to know what the CRD should get first.

Provent, lift pump, either a chip or a ecm programmed. I can't remember what else the CRD can get on it to help it run better and smoother.

Bumm,

You'd do better and get more response posting in the "CRD. . . Love that Torque" forum, but here goes. I think the best, and simplest thing to do is to prevent the soot flowing into your intake. Get an ECM tune (I have Green Diesel Engineering, check my sig) or just unplug the MAF sensor to stop the EGR from putting exhaust in your intake. The next step would be preventing oil from the crankcase from getting in there too, either by doing the EHM or the Provent. I also wish I'd changed out the stock exhaust sooner too.
