Well I was goint to head to the dealership and buy a trailrated badge but now I am going to have to wait for the new badge to come out... Count me in when they're made.

i wouldnt want to take off the trail rated one but one above the door molding would work.. easier to read too from another vehicle.. wouldnt have to get right on your vehicle to read it.. or possibly one on the rear door

Here's my 2 cents!

Image

Since i don't have a "renegade" decal below the 3.7L on the tailgate..........that's where i'd put this. then, replace my trail rated badges w/the lost badges. count me in!

You guys love to make it difficult

I want to let this thread marinate a bit before we decide if we do one or both.

As for taking the old one off, a bit of fishing line and a hairdryer work wonders.

Like brpn#1 said.... somebody might not want to take the Trail Rated badge off.... I probably would not either, just place another one there or somewhere near.
Another round one on the side would look good - the rectangular would be cool too - I'm wondering: colored? - I'd say B&W would look best on any KJ - I wouldn't want to put a colored badge on mine - but, that's just my opinion...
Keep plugging on this one and we can iron out some details

What about a Round trail tested version?
Also since im no web forum guru, how would we get the numbers of interested people on the forum, how do we track interest without having to go back and read posts?

You have to mask and paint em yourself anyhow, so you can do whatever motif you want.

After we discuss it for a while, I'll ask for a more firm commitment from those interested, then we can get real numbers, but I'd gather we'll do anywhere from 10-30 of these. Maybe more eevn. This thread is still young.

I'll work on another version that says "trail tested" later on. I think the round one we have now is going to be the most widely liked. Anyone is welcome to get thier own custom one with my artwork if we decide on something different than the version you decided you liked. You just don't get group-buy style pricing.

I like the rectangle one best....same colors and all...I'd be in for that one...I personally like the Trail Rated badge....and wouldn't want to take it off....but I would add the rectangle one elsewhere.

I like the rectangular one better. The round one is so similar to the actual Jeep badge that some people won't notice the difference. I would want something that stands out a little bit. It would look good on the driver's side door above the molding similar to the way Wally did the one that says "Camo Edition" on his Jeep.

I wanna wait for comments from people who do not visit as often as the rest of us, then I'll put up a poll. I also need to refine the rectangular one a bit as I threw it together in about 5 minutes last night.

I am thinking I might try to incorporate the logo and the rectangular one together - kinda like the bullet version on the billetbadges website.

I think in the end we will be offering both, as it looks like opinions are split right down the middle right now. In that case, a poll might not be necessary at all.
