 Post subject: Mopar Light Bar and Heated Seats

i read a topic on here a while back ago about there being a problem installing a light bar in a KJ with heated seats, something involving a circuit that needed to be added. does anyone have any info on this. just purchased a mopar renegade style light bar and i am getting ready to install it on my '03 limited that has heated seats. thanks!

I think we are still waiting for a guinea pig to test that out! There was at least one person who was having their dealer install it, hopefully they can chime in when they have it done so we can see the details.

a friend and i installed the renegade light bar yesterday afternoon and everything works fine. the heated seats are not a problem. i can run the heated seats and the light bar at the same time. installation went fairly smoothly, except the illustrated instructions that came with the package didn't have any text with it, so you kind of had to interpret what they were saying. but it is on now, looks great, and works fine. if anybody has any questions or needs help with the installation of one, let me know, i'll be glad to pass on what i learned
