I am a bit of a WRC fan...

Have met all my heroes, McRae, Sainz, Martin, Beef (RIP), Gronholm, Loeb..the lot

I have been a marshal for many years on the UK round, culminating in being involved in organising team this last year...awesome (apart from Beef.....)

I actually used to run the Electrical department at M-Sport 2 years up until summer 2004...(M-sport IS the Ford WRC team)

Needless to say...I LIKE RALLYING

The KJ has done quite a bit of Rally work, being used as a route opening car on a national rally, and regularly used as a Radio car..

If anyone fancies coming across to watch the muddiest round of the WRC, drop me a line and we can hook up...

....Fouros...I love the Aussie jumps....best ever scene on TV WRC...McRae in a Subaru after launching about 12 feet in the air over the end of stage jumps (Bunnings???)in OZ turning to Nicky and saying...'Did you like that!!!'

That is awesome!!! How does one get involved in that? Just being there and saying "yeah I helped with the planning of the event" would be sweet and the free show you get...

http://www.rallynewyork.com/rny06-marshal.pdf

This is the only link I could find for US Rallying requests.

The way to do it in the UK is to find your local 'active' motor club (ie ones that organise rallies), and go along and introduce yourselves. You could start your own!!

I know rallying goes on in the US, not sure how much

Barbados Rally Carnival is a cracking one to got to...I have contacts there, and could probably get you marshalling!
http://www.barbadosrallycarnival.com/
My pal has also had an request to help on a rally somewhere in the US, and then he is going to the WRC round in Mexico.

Getting a job in a team is touch more difficult!!!
