The struts on my back window are shot. The back window is one of my favorite features, but now it squeaks and I have to pull it open (no major hardship, but that's not the point). Anyway, do I have to go to the dealership to get the struts or can I get them somewhere else and do it myself. How much does it cost? Am I the only one with this problem?

The same thing is happening to mine Libby, you should be able to get them from the auto parts store. I had to buy a set for my Bronco II.

I think Ive seen them at Auto Zone once upon a rhyme. When I use my key fob to pop the window mine opens correctly some times and other times it only opens an inch or so.

Most auto parts stores can get them. Another Cheap option is to open the window up to where you want it to sit and drill a hold in the chrome colored part, and put a cotter pin or something like that in there to hold it up.

The arms on those units bend easily. A friend of mine was closing the glass once on my KJ and he pushed down on the corner of the glass, instead of the center. The arm on the side he pushed down bent about 20 degrees. Course, it straightened out easily too, but you'd think they would be a bit stronger.

I also bent mine from pushing down on the corner, and the dealer replaced it for free.

Or, find a way to replace them with powered stuts and have the ability to auto-close the rear hatch too.

Now, wouldn't that be cool.

If you can't find them at an auto parts store you might try someplace that sells camper shells - they usually have a pretty good selection of the struts.
