Beastly!

I'll be testing them as soon as I get my jeep back. I'll let you know how they roll on and off road.

A few questions for you guys, I know you asked for no questions, but... oh well.

Are you going to add front control arm mount skids to your D44?
I see that you guys reamed out the d-shackle tabs on Troy's bumper to weld in the Anti-Rock sway bar, what will be the provision for those people that want to buy your kit, but don't have an ARB?
On the exhaust, did you run into any clearance issues and will the average Joe have to get a new system put in as well?
What is the wheelbase going to be?

 Oops, knew I forgot something.

I see that you guys reamed out the d-shackle tabs on Troy's bumper to weld in the Anti-Rock sway bar, what will be the provision for those people that want to buy your kit, but don't have an ARB?

Most likely figure out something that mounts in the same area, but chances are if someone has the money to swing an SFA, they probably will or already have an aftermarket front bumper. I can make provisions in my front bumpers to make it work, as you will see when I do Ted's jeep.

On the exhaust, did you run into any clearance issues and will the average Joe have to get a new system put in as well?

Yes it will need to be changed. Stock clears everything pretty well, until you put the front driveshaft in, then it is right in the way. Again, if the customer is going SFA, it would be a good idea to make a higher clearance exhaust anyways. Troys custom setup will actually be fairly inexpensive considering the custom work being done, and extremely high clearance.

What is the wheelbase going to be?

No idea yet off the top of my head. front is pushed slightly forward, the rear will be back several inches, probably gain 4"+ over stock, but that is a guess right now.

It will be somewhere around $2, $20, $200, or $2,000 more than you can afford.

Also, I'm sure you have thought of this, but the holes on the frame stiffners line up with your rock rail mounting holes, right? It would be a good selling point to have them work as a package. (I think that is what you are saying above, but I wanted to make sure)

Actually, what I can afford and what I'm willing to pay are worlds apart -

I am currently measuring the cost of my Jeep mods in Wranglers. You know does the SFA cost 1 wrangler, 2 wranglers, etc. Troy has $24k in parts BEFORE the kit I think. In that range, I measure by Rubicons... 1 nice used Rubicon or 1 four door 2010 Wrangler.

But it's all personal taste. He will have one very bad, very unique, kick butt, jeep liberty. He will have exactly what he wants, and that's priceless.

But I look at an SFA Liberty as something not many will have PLUS if I were to buy a brand new JK Rubicon today, it would be getting between 4 to 5000 worth of changes done to get it part ways to where I want it, plus the extra cost of it, so in the long run, KJs paid for, SFA would be way cheaper and I get it exactly the way I want it, not what the bean counters want to give you

My Fault...
Took Marty to teach me how to fly fish... The only loud noises we heard was me cussing as I screwed up another cast as Marty was telling me I was catching on quick and BTW he had yet another fish on the hook...
Now I know why he wanted to teach me how to fly fish... to make the fish think he was good! Well it worked, I got Skunked :x

I'm interested to see how the unibody stiffeners go over that seam by the crossmember on the outside of the unibody, where those extra layers of metal meet and end up hanging down from the main rail of the unibody. There is like a 1/8" thick overlap there, and from your pics, the frame stiffeners are flat and don't bend around or account for that small seam, at least not that I can tell (hard to see since I'm not there in person). Did you guys just stay flat or make a tiny bend in the stiffeners to keep everything flush? Since it is a small little overlap, did you guys just disregard it, because it shouldn't be an issue when you torque everything down? On mine we gusseted the inside and only went up to that seam on the outside since we didn't want to hassle with the seam and that extra metal layer kind of already acts like a stiffener for that part of the unibody. I may eventually have a piece made up to weld into that spot from that seam forward, but I doubt I'll ever get to it.

this also shows forward end of that same piece. Only bolts to the outer part of "frame rail", doesn't connect to bottom portion of it.

I still can't tell in the pics if they accounted for the seam (with the arrow pointing to it) or not. There is a little overlap in metal there, and so the unibody stiffeners would have a small gap there if they didn't account for it, not that it is a big deal, I am just curious to see if they bothered to hassle with the seam or if they just stayed flat all the way across it. My guess from the pics is that they left the stiffener flat.

I think you need a couple more bolts in it  Looking good. Do they make a high grade stainless bolt? That would look pretty cool. Is it just me or did you take the time to orient every bolt the same? If so nice touch. If not.... Ya should.
