After I get my lift on here real soon I was going to get "HEAVY DUTY KJ" or something like that in a decal to set mine off from the million others here in Toledo. But now with the LOST badge idea coming into play I am ready. I sort of like the idea of having them on the rear quarters though, make it different than all the rest and stand out, esp the rectangular ones. I will keep my Trail Rated as that is the ONLY badge of any kind that I have on the Lib now.

I'm in for the rectangle one also would look sweet on the rear door or above the molding on the front doors or all 3

Me, I'd be willing to remove the 'Sport' on my doors and replace them with a couple of these, kinda like the 'Freedom' edition has.

Either in the side of the rear or the front bumper

Show off!

I like the rectangle one better too. I would put a L.O.S.T. badge where the Sport lettering is on mine.

Thats what the decals are for. The rectangular badge would get a bit busy and probably cost more to cut with the web address on it.

I agree, it looks great as is... the URL would make it way to busy, and would have to be too big for it to be legible

I'd buy one of those badges, and put it right where I was planning on putting my lifetime sticker....where the trail rated badge goes. (BTW-to remove any badge-heat gun it then use high test fishing line to "floss" it off. Leaves no marks)

As far as buying a trail ready KJ off the lot, I've found building it almost as much fun as wheeling it. It's the saving and waiting for mods that kinda stinks though.

I'd be interested in both, since my '04 din't have trail-rated badge on it. :D

UPDATE!!!!!

I've touched the designs up, to use a font that matches the Liberty badging and also matches our logo font. I am going to get price quotes on both the rectangular and round versions, as it looks like we have a lot of interest in both.

I think the rectangular badge looks awesome. I would definitely be willing to put that on my KJ. The back liftgate seems like it's begging for it.

Did you want the URL on the round badge? I thought that was going to be reserved for the decals?

I would have to say I would want two or three of the rectangular one for each side and one possibly for the rear. Both designs look really good but I like the rectangular one the best.

Can the "trail tested edition" be colored like the original posting was? That looked sharp!
Or make the mountains red to stand out.

They actually will come unpainted and you will have to mask and paint them yourself, or for a little extra I might be able to mask and paint them before I ship to you. The guy who makes em charges extra for this service, and I can probably do it cheaper. The added benefit is you can customize the color to be whatever you want.

Masking them will be very easy because the areas that are black on the picture will be recessed. You simply have to lay a strip of masking tape over it, and trace the recesses with a sharp craft knife. Then prime and paint.

here's detailed instructions from the www.billetbadges.com website: http://www.billetbadges.com/images/install.pdf

Since i don't have a "renegade" decal below the 3.7L on the tailgate..........that's where i'd put this. then, replace my trail rated badges w/the lost badges. count me in!

I'm down with this idea

I have a 2002 Limited and so I don't have any good looking badges... and didn't want to add one that really belongs to newer models, but I'm all about these... it belongs to ALL years of KJ's!
