One of the two major guiding principles of Incommando's life: Better you than me.

Hope that gets better quick.

You do know it's the sign of your manhood to be able to drive yourself to the hospital.
Did the emerg dept give you a nice "Hello Ktty" sticker for being a good patient?

Seriously that sucks about your finger. Keep an eye on it, it may get infected.

So, they didn't pin the pinky and left the floaters in there? That's odd. When my brother crushed his fingers, he ended up with pins in three out of four.

As bad as it is, I'm glad it wasn't worse for you. Praying for a speedy healing and no nerve damage!

Just got back from ortho surgeon, they think it is too squished to do anything with it.
I have to wait for some more tests, xrays or whatever those things they did today to come back but so far not lookin good. Nerves are good up untill the middle knuckle, then its all down hill from there.
Nope no pins, nothing to pin, the bone in the end is smashed like broken glass. In one of the pics you can see a small piece of it coming out. Oh yes the pain sucks bad but at least I can still laugh!
Sorry about the ruining of breakfast and lunch for ya guys.........

Ronnie Lott cut the tip off his and went back into a football game...just sayin;

edit for the "rest of the story" from ninersnation.com

The story that personifies Ronnie Lott is the amputated pinky finger. in 1985, during the season finale against Dallas, Lott collided with Cowboys RB Tim Newsome and crushed much of his left pinky finger. He came off the field but did get back on. Originally I thought the pinky was amputated right there on the sideline, but as Lott himself clarified, that happened in the offseason. In their first round playoff game the following week, Lott had his fingers taped up and played through the pain of the crushed finger. Either way, that's quite the bad-a$$.
