Knowing some of TJKJ habits, I'm sure all of the bolts were done like that on purpose......

I still can't tell in the pics if they accounted for the seam (with the arrow pointing to it) or not. There is a little overlap in metal there, and so the unibody stiffeners would have a small gap there if they didn't account for it, not that it is a big deal, I am just curious to see if they bothered to hassle with the seam or if they just stayed flat all the way across it. My guess from the pics is that they left the stiffener flat.

We didn't bother. It isn't even quite 3/32 overlap (just a frog hair over 1/16"), and by the time we added the undercoating and cinched down the bolts to 120 ft/lbs, there isn't much of a gap anymore.

That was what I figured. Just curious about it. Thanks.

Well some more progress.....................

It is sitting on it's own weight and off the jack stands(for the time being).........................
Image
Image

Sadly the trackbar that has held up progress got messed up during machining and thought to be savable but not so much so another trackbar has to be machined. But at least we got the correct measurement for the rear driveshaft but waiting on the slip joints for those also   .So maybe sometime in the next decade it will be rolling.

Oh below is just a shot of the twin sticks, got to find a fabric place to make a twin stick boot but for the time being it will work like in the pic.
