Well, today is February 1, so I figure it's a good day to kick this thing off. Not just one, but two lucky KJ owners are going to win free armor. Due to the overwhelming response from the LOST group to the products I am making for the KJ, I figure I would help you for helping me.
The contest starts today. The drawing date is yet to be determined, but no earlier than June 15th. I am planning six months from today, but I want to be sure to give at least 6 weeks after release of the bumpers (coming out same time). I am starting this now to give everyone enough time to save up and still get in on the contest. I know money doesn't grow on trees, and this stuff isn't cheap.
THE PRIZES!
Grand Prize winner will receive a Cashiers Check for the full purchase value of their order, not to include shipping costs. Example: If winner paid a total of $1250 for product, plus $300 shipping, the $1250 would be returned.
First Runner up will receive a set of Skink Sliders, or if Sliders were already purchased, a Cashier's Check for the purchase value of those sliders will be returned, not to include shipping costs.
HOW IT WORKS
You can only be entered to win if you purchase. Customers will receive numerous entries according to the following:
(1) entry for Skink Sliders (standard, step or super)
(2) entries for Front or Rear Bumper (w/o carriers)
(5) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers (w/o carriers)
(6) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers w/ one carrier
(7) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers w/ both carriers
(7) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers w/o carriers w/ Skink Sliders
(8 ) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers w/ one carrier and Skink Sliders
(10) entries for Both Front and Rear Bumpers w/ both carriers and Skink Sliders
(1) entry per prepaid item up to (5) items + 10% off subtotal (shipping not included in discounts). For prepaid entries, Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Skink Sliders (standard or step), Tire Carrier, and Jerry Can Carrier are counted as one item each.
So, it is possible for someone to receive a total of 15 total entries. Items don't have to be purchased at the same time, as long as they are purchased before end of giveaway. Prepaid entries and discounts will only be awarded if items are purchased before their individual release date.
Example 1: if the Skink Sliders' release date is March 1, but the front and rear bumper release date is May 1, the Skink Sliders purchase will only be awarded the (1) prepaid entry if slider purchase was made before March 1. However, the bumpers would not have to be prepaid until before May 1. If items are purchased at separate times, if numerous items are purchased before end of contest, full package entries will be awarded. Example 1: if Skink Sliders are purchased first, the customer would receive the (1) entry. At a later date, the customer purchases both front and rear bumpers (w/o carriers) for a value of (5) entries. This would only be (6) entries, however, since all of these items were purchased before end of contest, they would be awarded a total of (7) entries for the package of both Front and Rear Bumpers (w/o carriers) w/ skink sliders.
Example 2: Customer purchases Skink Sliders but does not prepay, and later purchases Front and Rear Bumpers with tire carrier and prepays. They would receive the (1) entry for the Skink Sliders, plus (6) entries for the Front and Rear Bumpers with tire carrier, plus (1) additional entry for complete Front and Rear Bumper w/ tire carrier and Skink Sliders entry package, for a total of (8 ) entries, plus (3) more entries for each prepaid item, the Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, and Tire Carrier, and 10% off subtotal for Front and Rear Bumpers with Tire Carrier, but no prepay discount on the Skink Sliders.
Contest will end six weeks after release date of last product for the KJ, which will be determined once final product enters production. Drawing will be held at a "LOST" Rockies event/meeting, and winners will be drawn by Ted Fest (USAFCOP) who is not eligible for contest winnings. Period for prepayment per product will be at least six weeks before scheduled product release date. If product happens to be released early, prepayment schedule will not be reduced. I will not accept prepayments for items (such as the bumpers) until prices have been formally established. For all payments including prepayments, shipping charges will not be collected until item(s) are ready to ship.
RULES
You can't get entered unless you purchase. Like I said, this contest is for my customers who have been a big supporter of my business. If you are planning to buy anyways, this promotion is just bigger incentive to do so. If you didn't plan to buy anyways or can't afford to do so without selling offspring or getting a second mortgage, all I can say is this is a drawing, and you are not guaranteed to win. The only returns I take are for two years for manufacturer’s defects. Don't buy to try and win free stuff, and think you can return it if you don't win. The odds of there being a manufacturer's defect is very, very slim, because I check every single piece that my manufacturer cuts and forms for me, and only I do all the welding/finishing, and I am a perfectionist. If the item is returned for legitimate warranty, then it will be replaced and shipped at no cost and return shipping for defected bumper will be refunded (customer responsible for return shipping until warranty is proven legitimate). If there is not a legitimate defect, buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and subject to a 60% restocking fee. I know that this seems harsh, but this is for my protection and to make a fair contest for those hardworking customers who are serious about purchasing products for their KJ whether or not they may win a contest.
