Alright, there is a thread about football, but I'm not really the biggest football fan, plus my team sucks (Lions), so... any of you out there in interweb land Hockey fans? The season just started (thank gawd) and thought there ought to be a Hockey thread.

My team, the greatest team on ice, Detroit Redwings are not off to the best start, 0-2-0, but they will be hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup at the end of the season!

I'm also kind of a Phoenix Coyotes fan, since I live in PHX and if I want to see some action in person it's the only option. Things aren't really looking to good for them though.

So can the Blackhawks. Who will not have Detroit in their way to hoist the cup this year.

You know we can all go back & forth claiming "our team" is better but as a Blackhawk fan, i got one thing none of you can compete with -- the 'Hawks jersey is the most bada** in the NHL.

Fake tooth up front and scars to prove my love for the game. Since my no longer great state of Minnesota sold my NORTH Stars I was forced to go and stay with the only other team worth watching.........DETROIT RED WINGS! Ever notice when all the other teams play the Wings that they have to step up their play to compete with em or at least thats what their opponents say when interviewed! It's always some thing like " ya we look forward to playing the Wings and stepping up our game a bit" hahahahaha eat your hearts out!
Truth be told lol I love all hockey teams, just a few players from several teams I would love to take a 10 minute major and game misconduct for!

LMAO I knew that would anger a Avaflop fan lol
Oh Patric WAAAAAAAAAAAWAAAAAAAAAAA BABY is on of those punks I would love to take a major for!
Him and Hasek are the same, just flop around like fish waiting and praying the puck hits them some where.
Yes Hasuck should have stayed across the big pond, don't care if he played for the Great Winged Wheel! He is/was just a washed up Cup digger..........

I can't imagine playing in a beer hockey league. Do you drink at every face off? That would be some dangerous fun!
