Well I've got Jury Duty for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of this week. For those of you that have me working on your projects, it shouldn't cause more than about a day's delay, as Tony is still working on your stuff.

Tommudd: Did you get my PM, or still thinking about it?

I enjoyed my stay on jury duty. You get to see how our system works and how the lawyers try and twist the truth to sway the jury. Good luck and enjoy!

Ditto my experience on jury duty... I also served on a Grand Jury once... very instructive!
Most of the time I get called in, the defense attorney spends one of the preemptory challenges on me before anything gets started - the last time, I didn't even get my hind end into the seat before I was dismissed. Nothing like looking like a conservative sort of guy that believes in hanging!

Well I'm all done. It would have been an ok experience had they limited our time in there to the length of a workday. But yesterday we went 8-6 and today we went 8-10pm+. I know people sometimes get stuck deliberating into the night, but they were still presenting evidence until 6, and closing statements until 7. And good god was the deliberation room dinky and hot...probably 83-85 degrees in there.

We also had two 85+ year olds in the jury and they looked like they were about to pass out after about 8pm.

Although I felt like the guy we convicted I felt like was going to get too much time for what he got convicted of, we just followed the rules for each charge and didn't consider the full scope. Had to leave the sentencing up to the judge. The judge came by afterward to talk to us and told us that this guy was on bond for like 13 other felonies anyway, so we all feel fine about it now.

I think Tony has the outside welded and needs to finish the inside welds. I'm also waiting for my anodizing samples to test them. Should get them today or tomorrow I think.
