Heat only works when accelerating/cruising?

double checked the level today while the engine was truly cold, sat yesterday and today, was a hair low, added to fill line. drove to my mom's house to help her with her car.

got there and two seconds later, huge puddle under the jeep.

there is a pinhole in the radiator about 3/16ths inch below the very top on the drivers side, just peein' away.

i figure my coolant was Just low enough that it wasn't quite at that level where it could reach the hole.

so, I get me some radiator patching epoxy putty, and will seal the hole tomorrow...

Cracked radiator... All KJ's are destined to suffer this fate.

Good time to change hoses / thermostat and waterpump.

That stuff just doesn't work for very long,tried it before.Time for a new radiator.

i have $1 in my bank account, so unless someone is giving me one, it ain't gonna happen.

and besides, I patched the radiator on my explorer, and it held for 30,000+ miles.

it isn't a crack, it is a pinhole, it's even round :lol:

looks like a tiny gun shot a hole in it.
