measure the outside of the springs you have now, OMEs are 3 1/4 inside, outside 4 1/2 give you something to go on to make sure they will fit. If you need anything else I have a set of the OME 790s sitting out in the garage to measure or whatever

I hope I can just swap the springs, Id hate to buy more struts again since I just bought these to correct this issue :(
Using other coils with the SkyJacker struts most likely will not work to good since the SkyJacker uses a flat bottom and all the other coils do not and require a bottom isolator.Adding a bottom isolator to the SkyJacker strut you may run into problems keeping the bottom of the coil in it's proper place.

I ran the non-softride SkyJacker lift for over 4 years, the struts are junk so I swapped to Rancho ones but had to modify the coils to work(IE: cut them to be able to use a bottom isolator).Held up my ARB bumper and winch just fine, only 1/4" sag from the added weight and zero loss over the next 4 years.

Yea ill probably just replace the front struts and springs to correct this issue. To bad i couldnt use the skyjacker struts and save my self some money :( ill keep the Skyjacker shocks and springs for the rear they work perfect.

Man I wished I did not have so many problems when I had the Frankenlift on my KJ.
I miss the ride. I am at 150K and back to stock suspention. My front sags so much when I break fast, I swear my engin scraps the pavement and I see sparks coming out the back of my KJ

So I contacted allJproducts.com about new springs and struts and their saying just doing the front suspension is a bad idea and thy I need to order a whole new lift kit. Is this true or do thy just wanna make a sale? Because my rear springs and shocks are great.

You can do the front only, some have OME or full frankenlift in front and original springs with spacers in the rear yet .

lol well if he doesnt want them, ill take em :)

im going to have them as backups. so far the regular OME HD's for the gasser are working out ok, and ill leave them on there unless these sag drastically, it dropped down a tiny bit, but not "sagging" more each day, just the 1/4-1/2" from the initial weight of the 108lb winch ;) :P

what made me change mine wasnt the loss of height or 'sag' it was the squishy feeling my front end had going around corners / on / off the gas / brake. the OME 790's put it right back to the way it was when frankenlifted without the bumper/winch! if you can get your hands on them i strongly recommend it :)

Well ive decided to go all out and replace the entire suspension lift kit :(, whats the best deal out there? I know alljproducts.com is almost $900 while rocky-road.com is about $750. I do however need a HD setup since my ARB bumper and winch weigh so darn much! :x

squeeking is 'probably' just your sway bar, mine is making all sorts of racket now that the weather has cooled off below 80 degrees

Pair of OME spring 160 or so , front struts 180 to 200, thats only 340 some condit nuts and you're there for the front. Rear springs and shocks another 275/280 . Want a little more in the front add a top plate for 1/2 or more extra

With the bumper and winch I would go wth the OME 790s in the front

$340 wayyy lower than i thought, that would be awesome. Im just wondering if im going to need other pieces since im going from the skyjacker lift to technically a Frankenlift?

im not sure what the skyjacker lift consists of. but if you get rancho or OME shocks, and OME springs, you will need the original mopar top plate for the struts, do you still have the original parts before you lifted it? or maybe you can get a daystar top plate instead, both will work. and youll need the rubber mopar isolators for the top and bottom of the spring inside the strut assembly
