Will the ez drain fit in the stock threads?

I think you can order it in that size yes.
I ordered the 18 mm and tapped out the stripped threads. Hole size was perfect so i didn't have to drill it.

Either way you go, you will not be disappointed in putting on a drain valve. I used the Fumoto when I first got my CRD in '06 and liked it so much, I immediately got one for my semi truck. As has been said, one of the best investments you can make for any vehicle or equipment.

What I did was: I bought a Trasko.usa drain valve complete that cost about $30.00 bucks I use the M3 (SD4) and I install it, that is one shot deal, unce is there you will never take it out. It works gooood and is very low profile and it will never leaks and it will never have an accident of loosing the oil.

I also use their filter too the 10S 3/4 x 16 (ford thread).
