Who's lift is it? Hope it works for you. We're all interested in how it performs off road.

All in jeep service workshop and still under warranty
Full medium (must be medium soft springs) OME lift kit
additional rubber spacers in the back (not sure of size yet)
metal special spacers infront (found at jeep workshop)
15" rims/ 8.5 wide
wheels size 32
heavy duty jeep gear

cv joint angle still the same, no rubbing exept when I back up. Bit of cutting will solve the problem
only thing is that the suspension is hard but no sounds. Drove great on desert dunes but didnt try rocky areas yet. Ive had it for 5 days only but feels great

I find it difficult to believe that the CV angles are still the same.

i got four inches of lift in the front of my 04, and the cv angles are the same, only in the opposite direction. i checked mine with an inclinometer before lifting and after and it was the same net cv angle.

Really? At rest, or full droop?

I've heard of some lowered KJs, that once you add armor, skids and all it is practically an inch or two from being bottomed out. Hence why you could get four inches.

i measured the angles with it sitting on a level shop floor before installing the lift, and i checked it again after putting 150 miles on it with the lift. as far as full droop goes, there is only about 3 inches of "droop" before the strut reaches max extension and lifts the tire off of the ground.

Does your wheels ever get ripped when you driving offroad on rocks?? All pics of liberty offroad i see wheels going in too deep. I know its a slower drive on rocks unlike the desert but...

Couple of times I had to change my back wheels cause I was goin too fast and the car jumped.

Jjay,
please take some low pics of the front and rear suspension so we can see what you had done under there and the CV angle.

Is the front spacer at the clevis under the strut or inside the front spring?

A pic of one front wheel at full drop would be great also, to see if there is any upper balljoint contact.

Thanks,
Nick...KJ04

Are you having a problem with the springs hitting the upper arm & ball joint?

I have only the Rustys top spacer and get contact when it unloads.

How are those 15" rims? I have been told that 15's won't fit the KJ... I have a spare set of TJ Ravine wheels (15x8) that I would LOVE to try and mount 31's on... Let me know if you have any issues with them.

Thanks,

Some 15" wheels do work. IIRC, Craiger Soft 8's, and an American Racing 15" will fit.

How about the ProComp Rock Krawlers? I really like the look. I assume that this lift is totally custom, that looks huge compared to the clearance my KJ has. I want one! :D I love those "eyes" on the headlights too. How did you go about doing that...just some cut black tape or something? Looks sweet!

Rims are great, specially with the fact they are 8.5" thick and thats why my wheels pops out a bit. They perform very well on dunes unlike when I first bought the car and had the stock rims.
