Just wondering what the failure rate is. I have not had issues YET, however my mileage decided to take a dramatic drop with the last fill up, hope its just a bad batch of fuel.

Not yet and but she's only got 5,000 miles on her and two wash jobs since buying last Oct.

I will be having the tires rotated next weekend, there is no unusual wear or wear patterns on the tires. 8)

At 7000 EGR Went out, shortly there after A glow plug went bad to.

Ill bet the mileage drop is due to the darn winterized fuel out right now. I cant get over 20 right now. Hmm, wonder if its due to the fact I cant keep my foot off the throttle.. NAH.

During summer I was getting 24-25 city.

No w/ 7,200 miles. i've also noticed a mileage drop recently and I should have winterized fuel livining at Sea Level in California and I'm using ~B50. No CEL though <shrug> One of these days I'll drop by a shop w/ a code reader to see if there are codes lurking.

On an unrelated note, looks like I'm going to get my windshield replaced. Went skiing last wkend and was pounded by 3 different rocks. 2 just made stars but the last one hit right at the edge of the windshield on the driver's side. By the time I got home on Tuesday the crack had grown to 6 inches long. Don't think they can repair that one.

Stupid semi's and sanded roads....

I voted "NO" for mine at 7431 miles, but if I could cast a second vote for my friend in Texas, it would be "YES" at 20,000 miles.

BTW, while he was getting his EGR fixed, he raised cane with the dealer about how much oil had been sucked thru the hoses and intercooler after 20K miles (no Provent, 0W40 oil). They're going to replace both intercooler hoses and flush out the intercooler for him, then he's installing the Provent I gave him for Christmas. We're talking a puddle of oil better than 1/4" deep in the bottom elbow of the outlet hose!

No. Currently at 5,700 miles. Mileage dropped to all time worst of 18mpg last tank. The very next tank I took a trip through the hilly back roads of Indiana for work to the tune of 480 miles - mileage was at 24.2 mpg, my all time high.

Don't feel bad. I was getting around 21-22 when I first got it (Sept) so when the winter fuel came in it dropped to 19.6 no matter how I drove. Aside from the fuel I'm starting to wonder if someting else might be causing a problem. Does anybody know when the petro companys start to change over to summer blend?
