reverse light question

are our reverse lights 3157 or 3156... i'm looking into replacing the stock back up bulbs with 60LED ones so i can see when i back up haha. i know there is no problem with flashing or anything... but which do i need to get? i know 3156 is single ciruit but does that apply to our tail lights? if i get 3157 will it do any harm?

hey so i actually figured out that they require 3157, so they are ordered.. these things are supposed to be just as good as if i were to buy aux reverse lights.. we'll see i guess... on the other hand i was thinking i could make my 2 sets of tail lights even brighter with these bulbs but i heard there is issues with flashing??? is this true and if so how so i avoid or fix the problem

you have to install a resistor in series with the LED lights to increase the resistance on the circuit because the LEDs are much much less current draw, what the size of that resistor needs to be, I do not know.

The funny thing is most LED light buld replacement should have a restor built in.
if they do not then do not buy them. It is much simpler to install the piece durring the construction of the LED buld then after words.
