I want a NP231 transfer case so I run a 4:1 low range (building a rubicon folks) and so I can also have a 2 wheel drive low mode. So I offered my NP242 in trade for somebody with a 231 and SavageSS27 responded.

So all is good right? Nope. He's in NJ and I'm in MN so we need to ship which I can live with. Our problem is that my KJ is an '02 and his is an '03 meaning we have different automatics. He has the 42 and I have the 45. Does this mean the tcase swap wont be bolt in? or can it still be done?

teraflex offers a conversion kit for both the 4:1 low range and 2 low for the 231 case...
