Where at in Porter Co. Boiler? I live 'next door' in LaPorte County, about 4 Miles from the County Lines.

I grew up in Kouts, a little town 10 miles south of Valpo. My folks & my sister still live there.

My grandparents, aunts, and uncles all live in Munster, Schererville, St. John, Lansing IL, etc.

I used to get dragged to the Lighthouse Mall all the time when I was a kid / dating in high school. I do appreciate Lake Lichigan's beach though. During high school my girlfriend and I had a lot of "fun" there.

My wife drags me to the Lighthouse Place Mall!

My sister and her husband moved to Kouts about two years ago. They lived in Chesterton for 30 or so years before moving south.

Schererville and St. John are old stomping grounds of mine. Dated three different girls that had ties to the area before I got married to a girl from Valpo.

Are you, also, a Boilermaker? I graduated from Purdue in Westville as did my wife. Our daughter just graduated from West Lafayette this past summer.

If things were any worse, I would have to drive a Hummer and change my name to Arnold :(

Some time when your heading to the area let me know and we'll have to get together and BS.

I'd love to check out your roof rack and skids in person.

I graduated from Kouts HS in 93 and Purdue (West Lafayette) in 98. My mom teaches at Lacrosse, has for about 30 years now. Dunno if that means anything to you, but wanatah and lacrosse kids buss back and forth I thought, or maybe that is just Lacrosse kids.

Well 501 I'm here now...but were celebrating Christmas early this weekend, I have 3 places to go in 48 hours.

I'll be back in March at the latest to detail my Mom's CTS & Solstice. I checked them out tonight and they are in desperate need of a little TLC. I'll let you know next time I'm in town and have some free time, maybe we can meet in Wanatah. :D

I don't know?! - Not much worse than being a Boilermaker. :-)r

Then again, those of us who are Fightin' Irish haven't had much to brag about for awhile.

Btw, a very old friend of mine is Highland's most famous resident. I know the area fairly well.

Anyway, welcome to LOST, Hoosiermud.
