I've only owned my CRD for a year and I love it besides ERG CEL (but plan on going with a GDE ECU early 2010 and fahgettin bout it).

I owned a 2003 F250 powerstroke prior to this rig and I had a set of pillar gauge pods. I loved the feedback and feeling like I was flying jet lol.

I want to get another pillar gauge pod for the 05 CRD, preferably 3x52mm gauges, but so far I could only find a 2-gauge pod (after scouring the forum here... http://www.gaugepods.com/jeep.html)

My question... has anyone had success with aftermarket gauges on these things and especially in a pillar pod format. If so, please reply with the mfg or website that has it.

Also, for ultimate geek factor I think these are my favorite gauges so far. What do you guys think:

I'm told the CRD can reach bosts as high as 30psi. What have you guys found?

Just be careful wth a Pillar mount if you have the curtain airbag. Some vehicle manufacturers recommend against mounting things on the A Pillar that might interfere with bag deployment. I know that the Liberty equipped with the side curtain has a retention cord in the A pillar to hold the bag in position during deployment.

No one currently makes a 3 pod pillar for the Liberty. I have the dual pod pillar. I've had these in a few of my cars, and I think this one fits the worst. Maybe it was in the installer (me) I'm not sure. I have trans temp and boost gauge. According to GDE (IIRC) max boost is around 20lbs. I think my gauge is about 5lbs off (let it roll around in the back of the jeep for a year), and it sits around 5lbs at idle. I see ~26lbs with it this way as indicated on my gauge. There is more detail regarding this on the GDE forum as this was a question I asked.
