Bummer………the lifetime alignment for $140 is a pretty good deal, that’s if Firestone stays in business.

No bummer. 160 bucks for 5 years sounds very good to me. They wanted 75 bucks just for today. Saw a sign talking about 3,4,5 year plans. I bit! :SOMBRERO:

you need to add a couple of washers to take up the space.

Lowe's, 12mm flat washers, 5 per bag. 2.4mm thick. Hillman brand, part number 880770. Needed 2 per side. Made it easy by hot gluing them together them hot gluing them in place. No more problem noise. Thanks again ATXKJ!

Well I finally got around to installing my set of RRO Insane A-arms. Drivers side rear bolt was a PITA! I will get pictures up ASAP... The front seems to be sitting higher than the rear now. I havent had it aligned yet, so I hope it settles somehow from the alignment.

If it did the same as mine did when I put the jba4.5's on, the camber or whatever was so far out it was basically riding on the outside edge of the tires, which gave it an illusion of being higher, while actually being a bit higher as well due to the tires not sitting flat like they usually are

a good alignment will put it back in specs

be careful on the way to the alignment shop, with the tires sitting like that it'll follow every tar sealed crack in the road lol

Then your alignment should be pretty close but not right on.

With a lift and stock tires and aligned it would be OK
BUT install new aftermarket arms it sits the top of the tire back out and yes would look like he described

nosnorb, did you get your jeep aligned yet? I had put in my RRO arms at a friends place about 40 miles south of where I live, By the time I drove my vehicle the 40 miles back home, it destroyed my tires. Literally took 60% off my tread. :banghead: Not to mention that it was extremely dangerous to drive.

i had to drive mine about 40 miles before i got my alignment, it was dangerous to drive, but it was raining, perhaps that's what saved my tires

i was kinda tired by the time i got home too, 40 some miles at 40 some mph, and every time id hit a strip of tar patch in the road it would follow it :(

I feel ya there. I got a set of their rock rails from my old man for christmas... They have been layin there on the floor since they arrived. I aint about to give a shop $200 to do that stoopid job :goink: . But, I also am livin i an aprtment, so I aint got the space or tools to do the job myself :furious: . So every job I do, I travel 40 miles and do the job in a buddies barn out in the sticks. Let me tell ya how fun it was changin out the control arms in a barn on a 20 degree night. :5SHOTS:

I had the alingment done today. The camber still seems to be slightly off. The alingment guy said he couldnt get it any better than it is. Same guy that alinged it when I lifted it with OEM arms. He says the RRO arms are causing the camber to be off. RRO website says if this happens then I dont have enough lift. Other than that everything is normal... I dont know what to do. Any opinions? The guy that alinged my Jeep has done it twice before with no problems.
