hmp. I bet I know where they got all those files from(seeing how they used the same naming structure I did)

Well, since you already found them, I'll thank you publicly. I was in the process of typing a PM while they upload.

These are the files I had downloaded from your site before it was taken down (by the fraudster host, I might add) and you get all the credit. Thats why they are freely available to download, for as long as Rapidshare will leave them up. I'll re-upload them if the links ever go dead.

If you have anything else you want to make available, LMK. I was going to put these on my own server, but I just looked and don't have the space. Bandwidth isn't the problem for me. I will be upgrading that host soon however, once I get some money coming in.

ah, didn't mean to criticize you or anything.

One of these days I will get my website back up and going. I just need the motivation to do it and select a new host.

I want all these files available to the community for free, b/c Sam was very generous in offering them for so long on his own dime. I'm a recent graduate student, so dirt poor... But Rapidshare is offering a nice service for this. You can pay for the faster downloads... Or not, and still get the files.

Last link for a while: The complete collection of parts fiche:

No worries Sam, it's all good. Like I said in the last post, I want these available for anyone who needs them. I thought I had lost my collection in a drive crash, and happened to find them lurking on a different hard drive that hadn't been mounted in a while.

If you have anything else from your site that you'd like out there for the group, I've got a Rapidshare account now that can host anything for free download.

Hey guys, have the Rapidshare manual downloads become fee only downloads? KJ warrantee finally expired and the unit came off lease. Decided to purchase and also bought the 7/100,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty, but, first $100 on me for any fix. Yesterday, did the heater fan motor resistor change out ($26.83 + tax) and thank anyone who contributes to this forum. Are there any torrent sites that carry the Repair Manual?

You could try this, not sure if it covers the CRD engine?

They shouldn't be. Here are the links again, and all still show as valid downloads in my account there. You only have to pay to download if you want them FASTER. They will still download, one at a time, at a slower speed for free.

When you click on one of these links and see the two "speedometer" graphics, just click on the button that says FREE USER and you will get the file for free.

Now, I just tried and got this message:

Quote:
This file can only be downloaded by becoming a Premium member

There are no more download slots available for free users right now. If you don't want to become a premium member, you might want to try again later.

And then this message on another file:
Quote:
Currently a lot of users are downloading files. Please try again in 2 minutes or become a Premium member

Please note, the server is not going to check again within the next 2 minutes if downloading is possible again. To provide a fair platform, all user get the same options. Your last attempt was 44 seconds ago.

Obviously, the files are still free, but Rapidshare is very busy right this minute. I would wait to pull these down at night for free, or toss them a few bucks for a 30 day premium access if you have an emergency need. I don't get a penny from this, and I wouldn't want any. These files should be free from Chrysler, honestly, for all the abandonment issues they have caused us.

To download Rapidshare files without a premium account, I use Rapidshare Downloader plugin for Firefox.
It may take 12 hours or more to download a huge file which has been split into many .rar files, but it's done automatically. ExtractNow reassembles the .rar files into the original file.

I got it from Rapid share. to me it was ok for free. they make you wait and try again and again. I had tried about 4 times over an evening before I got my shot at a download, it took over an hour and I am on comcast cable which is supposed to be fast, but its rapid share that is slow. and you can't download more than one file at a time. You just have to stick with it and rapid share is ok.

Interesting... I'm not certain that your comcast cable is that fast, as it is a shared service. If there are a lot of people using it, your speed will suffer a lot.

For reference, even on the FREE Rapidshare downloading, I was able to pull down the 150mb file in about an hour or so. Certainly not as fast as another archival site I pay for, where I get 350mb in less than one MINUTE of downloading... But for free, what do you want?

I can't complain too much you are right, after all it is free. what I didn't like and I understand that is how it is because its free is that they make you wait then try again and again a few times to see if they can get you to give up and pay or you will hang in there to get it for free.

What I said about comcast being so fast was partly sarcasim. I know they are not as fast as they claim to be most of the time. Comcast is all I can get for internet so I have to be happy with it. I can't get DSL besause I don't have a home phone and verizon isn't intrsted in selling it to me with out one, I won't do it cus I don't and won't use a home phone. verizon's FIOS is not here yet either. Satalite internet is slower than cable and has high latency and ping times so its no good for more than browesing a email.
