The whole combination looks great. The axle centers need a spot of rattle-can for the "all black" wheel look.

I think an aftermarket tube-frame rack painted body color would look killer. The factory rene rack looks somehow out of place when the rest looks so off-road serious.

Keep up the good work.

Dan

I have center caps and new lug nuts for the wheels. Ya know, I have used that Renny rack quite a bit...from haulling canoes to all my camping gear....I don't know how it has held up all these years but I will keep it on as I have other priority's to spend cash on. I wil eventually replace it but for now it is good. Thanks for the compliments.

I will tally it up and put it with my thread on the SFA section soon.....I am thinking it cost me between $7500 and $8500...I will let you know soon....I can tell you for sure that my pockets are lighter.

I am guessing his isn't much if any lower than the rest of the builds out there. Me, JJ, Wally, and Troy all have aftermarket high clearance bumpers, which make them look taller as well. Then on mine, I gained 4-5 inches of clearance by eliminating bolt on rock rails which makes it look like it sits even higher. To fit tires that size with the clearance he has, you got be up there. 8)

true, you need to make all the SFA stuff underneath work, it was made for IFS...given if it was built a little different, you could probably tuck it 2 inches lower, but why go lower

I am thinking of getting some lighter duty OME rear springs and adjusting the front to match the new lower rear height. Right now my rear end sits 1.25" higher than JJs and he has the lighter rear springs I may want switch to. Not sure if I want to do it though.

with the amount that you wheel it and how much crawling over rocks that you do...don't you think stiffer springs are more suitable for your type of wheeling due to amount of shifting that you will have? but i guess the lighter springs will level you out :juggle:

I am level now, but I would like the jeep to be as low as possible. The stiffer springs may be better in the long run for a heavy rear bumper, swing away carrier and 35" tire, but they shouldn't be any better off road. I may have to actually mount some bumpstops if I can compress the lighter duty ones more than the stiff ones now because I have yet to need bumpstops with these stiff springs.

To bad I already bought the 864's,I would have swapped you for your 864's for 863's.I need the stiffer coil since the rear of my KJ is massively heavy, plus the rear is way to soft for my liking and is way to soft compared to the front RE ZJ coils.

Hey Neatus the KJ looks better than ever. Is that an Air Force sticker I see on the rear side window?
