You adding extra supports under the center of the bumber for the winch plate to tie into? I would be scarfed to pull with it if that plate is bolted to 3/16" plate only.

Looks good though.

It's secured with 10 grade 8 bolts... so I think it should hold..... :wink:
But if not..... Boiler will make me a new bumper and winch mount! :D

If it was orange would it be stronger? :goink:

hahahaha... good reading glad i checked in! also great looking winch mount.. quality is fantastic. i have the XRC10 and love it.. just plug the control in right side up and it wont let you down :)

All 10 bolts will have grade 8 washers and 6 are located about 1" from center to an inner support rib, and the other 4 are about 1" from center to an outer support rib. It will be plenty robust. The winch mount itself has a 3/8" main plate and 1/4" fairlead / front plate, front gussets, and front bolt flanges. It's heft and geometry should distribute load to all 10 bolts pretty well.
